Rebasing is a technique that involves completely replacing the acrylic (the pink plastic that replaces the gum) while keeping the same original prosthetic teeth.

It allows for better adjustment of the prosthesis in the mouth and extends its lifespan. Of course, it is still important not to neglect the necessity of making a new prosthesis if the current one is no longer comfortable or is too old.
